We develop and scan 35mm (135), 120, 220 and 620 formats.
We do not currently process 4x5 film, but we are hoping to add this service later.
We can develop 110 and 127 format in C-41 and however we do not scan these formats.
Because you deserve what’s best we only offer high resolutions scans.
We scan all 35mm film with our Fuji Frontier SP500. These scanners offer our favourite colour rendition and scan at a resolution of around 5400x3600 pixels.
We scan 120 film on a Fuji Frontier SP3000. The file size will vary depending on the format you’re using. As an example 6x7 format will be scanned at a resolution of around 4500x3600 pixels.
C-41 (colour) orders are generally completed within 1 day.
B&W orders are completed within 3-4 days.
Turnaround time may vary depending on how much film we get during the week.
Throw your usb sticks and CDRs away. We will text and email you a dropbox link once your order has been processed.
The link is a Dropbox shared folder and will contain all your pictures sorted by film type.
Please note the link is ONLY sent through once all of your rolls have been processed. This means that if you drop off colour and black and white you will receive all your files within the black and white turnaround time. If you need your colour faster please let us know before submitting your order.
No, we currently do not offer prints.
We focus on giving you the highest quality scans possible, as efficiently as possible. Not offering prints allows us to focus on this. It is also one of the ways we try to cut down on waste.
Since your scans will be in high resolution by default, if you do need to get them printed later on, you'll be able to print large sizes.
Negatives are kept for 3 months.
Can't make it to the store? Don't worry! We can mail your negatives to you wherever you are.
To organise the ship back of your negatives just purchase this product:
This will allow you to select a shipping option and give us your shipping details.
When placing the purchase please add an order note mentioning you want your negatives shipped back. This note should also include the number of orders as well as the date your films were dropped off.
To save on shipping you can also include any other items from our website to your order like film, accessories and cameras. 😉
Scan files stay on our Dropbox server for three months.
We recommend you download your scans as soon as you get them.
Lost your scans? Contact us and we can rescan your negatives if needed!
Unfortunately we can’t scan film with borders. We use Fuji Frontier lab scanners, which are specifically made to scan 35mm/120 film. These scanner have a physical mask that delimits the frame. This ensures that no light from outside can affect the colour grade and that we can better control exposure and colours.
Your best option for borders would be to use a flatbed scanner like the Epson V-series.
We do not offer this service ourselves as it is extremely time-consuming and affects colour grading.
No, we currently do not process reversal film (E-6 or B&W).
No, we do not.
But for all cinefill development we recommend you to go to https://mutascan.film/en/shop/
We love the way they work and they offer really high quality at a great price.
No, unfortunately we don't.
Souped or soaked film can look cool but it's not that good for our processors.
We use large volumes of replenished chemistry for our processors. This gives good, consistent quality in developing, but we can't risk contamination.
Yes, we do offer TIFF scans.
We Charge an extra €2 per roll for raw scans, as these take longer to scan and upload.
But to be completely honest TIFF is often not necessary as our JPGs are quite large and already have low compression. We would always advise you to try our regular high resolution scanning service first and then decide if you still want those TIFFs. ;)
Yes we can! We're happy to scan these for you, in high resolution of course.
This is great if you develop at home or have old negatives to scan.
We can scan 35mm in whole rolls, cut strips or even mounted slides.
We can scan 120 in whole rolls, cut strips or single frames.

Oh no, it really sucks but it happens to the best of us.
We will notify you if one of your rolls came out blank. If you are unsure about what happened you can always come by with your camera and we will try and figure out what happened and what to do so it doesn’t happen again.
Unfortunately we can't refund you for the total cost, but we will credit you with free scans for the next time you develop with us!
Privacy is paramount for us. Your files are never shared or used for any purpose by us.
As for sensitive content, we don't have an anti-nudity policy, don't worry. Processing is handled in a professional manner.
We keep scans on our server for 3 months. If you would like your sensitive files to be removed once you have received them, just let us know and we'll do the rest.
